How are these fantastic night lights made? The image
you see is
not printed on the night light. The lithophane process, which
dates to the early 1800's, produces the image by simply varying the
thickness of the translucent porcelain. The ability to infinitely vary the
thickness of the porcelain produces amazing details. You could easily think they would cost hundreds of dollars.
Porcelain Garden nightlights make wonderful gifts. Give one as a baby gift
and it will become a treasured heirloom. They make a great bathroom
